We are a non-audition choir, and there is currently a wait list to join. The wait list for Tenors and Basses is fairly short. Unfortunately the wait time for Sopranos and Altos is currently at a minimum of two years.

Monday Night Choir Membership Request Form

The Monday Night Choir is a SATB non-audition choir. Members are not required to be able to sight-sing or read music, but most if not all repertoire is taught with notated music. While the Director does her best to teach material at a level suitable for all, members are urged to learn the basics of music theory, be it through asking questions in rehearsal or pursuing study outside of choir rehearsals. /// We rehearse Monday nights from 7-9 pm, from September-December (fall term) and January-June (spring term). Sections often organise their own rehearsals about once per term, which are useful to some, but not obligatory. We perform an average of 4 times per year. /// Members are chosen on a first-come, first-served basis when a space becomes available, at the start of each term. Priority goes to members from previous years/terms. We are open to adults of all levels of musical knowledge, and welcome people of all backgrounds. We value diversity. /// There are currently no spots available in the choir, however if you wish to be added to our waiting list, please complete the form below.
